Stuffed Naan Pizza (On Tawa) (No yeast and No Baking)

 Stuffed Naan pizza (On Tawa) (No yeast and Baking) is a delectable dish prepared with Maida and other ingredients.  This is a 3 in 1 recipe as Stuffed Naan pizza , Stuffed Naan and plain Naan can be prepared with this simple recipe. Try this recipe at home and enjoy the tasty dish.

Cooking time:

For preparing Stuffing: 6-7 minutes

For preparing pizza toppings: 6-7 minutes

For cooking Stuffed Naan: 6-7 minutes

For cooking Stuffed Naan pizza: 3 minutes

Yields:

2 medium sized Stuffed Naan Pizza

Ingredients

1 cup = 300 ml

1 spoon = 10 ml

1 tsp = 5 ml

1 coffee spoon = 2.5 ml

For making Dough:

  • Maida (All-purpose flour) – slightly more than 1 ¾ cup ( where 1 cup = 300 ml)
  • Cooking oil – 3 tsp
  • Baking soda – ½ tsp
  • Water – ¼ cup (1 cup = 300ml)
  • Curd – 50 ml
  • Sugar (White/Brown) – ¾ tsp
  • Salt – required

For making stuffing:

  • Cooking oil – 2 spoons (1 spoon = 10 ml)
  • Small sized Carrot – 2 (grated)
  • Medium sized Potato – 2 (grated)
  • Medium sized Onion – 1 (Chopped)
  • Garam masala powder – ½ coffee spoon ( 1 coffee spoon = 2.5ml)
  • Red Chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt – required

For preparing Stuffed Naan:

  • Maida (All-purpose flour) – 40 grams (for dusting)

For preparing Pizza Toppings:

  • Cooking oil – 1 tsp
  • Small sized Green capsicum (Bell pepper) – 1(diced)
  • Small sized Red capsicum – ½ (diced)
  • Medium sized Tomato – 1 (diced)
  • Pepper powder – ¼ coffee spoon (1 coffee spoon = 2.5 ml)
  • Salt – required
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 1 tsp

For preparing Stuffed Naan Pizza:

  • Tomato – 2 tsp (1 tsp for each pizza)
  • Cheese – 50 grams (Grated)
  • Cooking oil – 2 tsp (1 tsp for each pizza)

Method

For preparing dough:

  1. Mix the Maida, baking soda, Sugar, Cooking oil (3 tsp), required salt and Curd.
  2. Add water to it and knead it into dough. Close the prepared dough with a lid for 4-6 hours.
  3. Divide the dough into 2 equal halves. Make balls with it.

For preparing Stuffing:

  1. Sauté the Potato, carrot and onion with the Cooking oil (2 tsp) for a minute in a Kadai at medium flame.
  2. Add the required salt to it and mix it well.
  3. Add Garam masala powder and Red Chilli powder to it. Mix it well and cook for 4-5 minutes. Turn off the flame. Stuffing is ready to use.

For preparing Stuffed Naan:

  1. Roll the prepared ball into a round shaped using Chapati rolling pin.
  2. Place the stuffing at the center and close it with the edges. Dust it with Maida (All- purpose flour) if required.
  3. Again, roll it to a round shaped Naan of thickness (½ – ¾ inch).

For preparing Pizza Toppings:

  1. Sauté the Green capsicum, Red capsicum and Tomato with the Cooking oil (1 tsp) for a minute in a Kadai at medium flame.
  2. Add the required Salt and mix it well.
  3. Add the pepper powder to it. Mix it well and cook for 4 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  4. Add the Extra Virgin olive oil to it and mix it well. Pizza Toppings are ready.

For cooking Stuffed Naan:

  1. Cook the prepared Naan until it turns brown on both sides on a Tawa at medium flame (Grease the Tawa with Cooking oil if required). Turn off the flame.

For preparing Stuffed Naan Pizza:

  1. Apply the Tomato sauce over the Cooked Stuffed Naan.
  2. Add the prepared Pizza toppings and Stuffing.
  3. Add the grated Cheese to it.
  4. Cook the Stuffed Naan pizza in a Kadai with Cooking oil (1 tsp) at medium flame in a Kadai for 3 minutes (Cook covered). Turn off the flame. Stuffed Naan Pizza is ready to serve.
