Chapati Laddu (Dwarka Prasad Laddu) is a toothsome snack/dessert prepared with Chapati. This laddu (Ladoo) is prepared in a similar way as how Dwarka Prasad Laddu (Ladoo) is made. I have been to Dwarka when I was young and my mother learnt this recipe from her relatives when we were there.  We can also prepare this Laddu with the leftover chapati for an instant Dessert/snack. Easy Almond Kheer in 11 minutes (Traditional Badam Payasam)

Almond Kheer (Badam Payasam) is a creamy delicious Dessert prepared with Almonds, Cashews, Milk, Sugar, Khoya, Cardamom powder and Saffron strands. Carrot Halwa (Gajar Ka Halwa)

Carrot Halwa (Gajar Ka Halwa) is a delicious dessert prepared with Carrot, Milk, Sugar, Nuts and Ghee. Carrot Halwa is generally prepared by cooking the grated Carrots with Milk and generous amount of Ghee for a long time. Here, I have used Condensed Milk and Milk powder to cook in a short span of time. I have also used only very little Ghee as I don’t prefer adding it in large amount. Sakkarai Pongal (temple taste) in Pressure Cooker)

Sakkarai Pongal is a sweet dish prepared with Rice (Hand pounded), Jaggery powder, Desiccated Coconut, Cardamom, Milk, Honey, Moong dal, Cashewnuts, Raisins and Ghee. In early days, Hand pounded rice was used for making this dish and I have used that for preparing this delicious dish.

It is very auspicious to offer this dish as Naivedyam (Food placed before God during Worship) as it is a combination of Jaggery, Milk, Honey and Moong dal.

This tasty dish is generally prepared in Brass pots, Mud pots,etc.. I used to prepare this dish in pressure cooker. This tasty dish tastes exactly like Temple made Sakkarai Pongal. I have followed the same ingredients as how temple Sakkarai Pongal (Sakkarai Pongal served in Temple) is made but I have prepared it in Pressure Cooker to make it easy.
